Neverwinter Community Watch
The Community Watch is a recurring format on the weekends that summarizes interesting stories, forum posts, links and news in the Neverwinterverse that are worth reporting, but don’t warrant a full own post. Here’s what happened during the last week:
- Outside some minor changes related to the Winter Festival the official wiki hasn’t been very active lately.
- Some questions on the official subreddit are asked over and over again. So the guys are trying to do something against the unnecessary repetition. They also called for help on the matter. To help you need a certain reputation on the wiki though.
- Youtubers DEATHGUN, Garlaanx and FNHUSA57 have you covered on the ongoing Double Currency event.
- Would you still play Neverwinter if it went Sub base?
- Is it best to force rainbow parties in PVP?
- Blog GamingSF shared some general thoughts on falling damage, which is also present in Neverwinter.
- Gift scammers are annoying to legit players and the community discusses how to deal with them.
- Here’s some good old rant against elitism.
- ICYMI: Wanderer’s Fortune is a must-have Insignia Bonus.
- After some players received a survey on lockboxes, a new one has been emailed by PWE. This time they ask for your favorite module amongst other stuff.
PC
- The main news the week were the Key Changes of course. Looks like not only us were underwhelmed. Some users even feel it might be the end of the game (it won’t) and Streamer Kali Gold voiced his concerns as well.
- He also did some test runs on the PTS that didn’t look too promising.
- There are discussion threads on the changes on both the Subreddit and Arcgames.
- The new gear of the change has been previewed by MofoConan from Gaming Community Ember Legion. Thanks!
- Unfortunately we couldn’t give you guys a heads up because of the our holidays back then, but a shootout to TeamDRD and other streamers for hosting a Giveaway on Twitch during Christmas!
- More and more players are requesting to make the Marks from Svardborg unbound.
- We’ve already mentioned that the Russian Drider server treats PVP more seriously and a post on the forum sums up the latest tournament activity over there.
- Spoiler Alert: Somebody found an Easter Egg on the Sea of Moving Ice map.
- NWOHACKANDSLASH explains what DPS increase Crit Severity and Combat Advantage companions are able to contribute.
- Beckylunatic provided extended feedback on the 2016 Winter Festival on this thread.
- Will the Star of Fortune and Light of Simril vendors go away after the Winter Festival? Yes!
