Bag of Tricks Vol. 33: Less Fireworks, More Lliira’s Favors

Welcome to the latest installment of our Bag of Tricks! On some days you will find useful tricks, gimmicks and ideas here that can make life in Neverwinter Online easier. Some of the stuff should be well known, but since even veterans learn something new every now and then, chance is you can, too.

At the end of the last week we reported how players still struggle with the contest format of Lliira’s Celebration. Even if you have figured out the reward structure and stop overpaying for bronze, you still need to deal with the randomness of getting Favors.

But do you?

Some players poked us in the comments and on our message board stating that you can also get Favors by donating a single firework. The Disciple’s description clearly states “at least five” for a chance for a token, but two30 posted proof that this is not the case.

More than that the game seems to grant a Favor every time you contribute below the designated bronze bracket. This creates a weird situation where contributing less lands more Favors. It is not 100% certain yet, but limited testing of donating only one firework per contest indeed yielded better results than throwing more into the display.

In case you need a few more Favors in the last days of the event, this seems to be the most efficient way to get them.
