Bag of Tricks Vol. 40: Cooldown Simulator by Rapo973

Bog of Tricks Logo

Welcome to the latest installment of our Bag of Tricks! On some days you will find useful tricks, gimmicks and ideas here that can make life in Neverwinter Online easier. Some of the stuff should be well known, but since even veterans learn something new every now and then, chance is you can, too.

This edition of our Bag of Tricks features a great tool by a community member. Rapo973 posted a cooldown simulator that shows the cooldown time of powers for a particular amount of Recovery using the base cooldown time, Charisma and Intelligence ability scores as well as the DC’s Hastening Light. The tool can be found here, but make sure to also read the instructions posted on our message board.

It’s a nice tool and especially useful if you’re mainly aiming at getting a certain power to 100% uptime. You should be able to determine the needed Recovery using it.

    Thank you!
    Just a minor comment.
Unfortunately everytime I change something in the model, I’ve to create a new link.
    The latest version is here:
    https://www.desmos.com/calculator/ijnxsm8fat
where the (recovery < 0) part is removed from the graph because it doesn't make sense.
