Bog of Tricks Logo

Welcome to the latest installment of our Bag of Tricks! On some days you will find useful tricks, gimmicks and ideas here that can make life in Neverwinter Online easier. Some of the stuff should be well known, but since even veterans learn something new every now and then, chance is you can, too.

If you’re not farming Masterwork nodes on Double Profession weekends, you’re doing something wrong! The resources are selling well and are one of the better ways of marking ADs! In case you have stockpiled Explorer’s Charts you might ask yourself what’s the fastest way to run the locations. Next to having a fast Mount and Movement upgrades, there are actually some tricky routes that can save a few seconds here and there. And farming a sizeable amount of charts, this can add up to being a considerable time saver.

First of all there’s one requirement: You need a character with a long dodge ability like Control Wizard, Trickster Rogue, Devoted Cleric and want to assign a suicide hotkey (+VIP). Also: The node locations might not be 100% accurate as we’ve pulled them from memory, but that doesn’t affect the routes.

Newer Explorer’s Charts

The newer Explorer’s Charts in the Mod 10 and Mod 12/13 zones are less sophisticated and offer no suicide or other shortcuts. So the fastest way to farm those charts is just circling the nodes. Depending on what route you use on Cold Run, you might however safe a few seconds by killing yourself after looting the node in the south canyon to get back to the main camp.
