Module 15 Hype Continues to Build Before Expected PAX West Announcement

This looks to become a massive week for all lovers of D&D and Neverwinter! First of all Ravenloft hits tomorrow on consoles and finally all you guys on PS4 and the Xbox can enter the mist and face evil Strahd in his castle! In case you want to get the latest and most in-depth information on the module, make sure to check back tomorrow. We’ll have a massive post with everything you need to know!

Ravenloft Tomorrow, Waterdeep on Friday?

While that’s already cool, it’s looking like the PC crowd will already get the announcement of the next module. Cryptic and PWE will have an official booth at PAX West, where you’ll be able to play “unreleased content”. Us and others have long found clues about Waterdeep being the next stop for Neverwintans and it’s looking more likely with every passing day. Of course the latest hint comes directly from the developers themselves. We hope you’ve been following the spoiler that Waterdeep has sent to the Protector’s Enclave, because the story continues to unfold!

As Julia tweeted out, the mysterious caravan and its owners now apparently found the place they were looking for and have started renovating the building between the market and auction house. As always make sure to check out this thread on the official message board where the community actively discusses the latest development.

Bards Coming to Neverwinter?

If that wasn’t already enough, a new NPC popped up in the Proctector’s Garden inside PE. You can interact with her and she claims that “fellow bards are coming to Neverwinter”. Now before you freak out, just know that everything we’ve heard from the devs so far is that we won’t see a new class in the foreseeable future. We’ve already had guys spread false information about druids that had to be rectified by Julia on a stream since people where asking about it. So at this point we don’t expect a new class in Module 15. But “Maeve Brightsong” is definitely a bard, and she didn’t make the game accidentally. So there’s that.

*** UPDATE *** Apparently Maeve is a character in the upcoming D&D Dragon Heist module. So it’s yet another spoiler of Waterdeep.

As said we expect all of this to clear up on Friday at PAX West with whatever announcement the devs are going to make. So you only have to be patient for a couple more days.

Guys, has anyone heard any news about new MW recipes? With every new IL increase, MW becomes more outdated. With the maniacal amount of time and resources myself and others have spent unlocking MW, I foresee riots if Cryptic decides to abandon MW by the wayside.

Honestly if i tried I could probably care less about mod 14 launching tomorrow on Xbox, but I would have to try very hard. That being said , the little Easter eggs and clues about mod 15 have me excited. Though I wished some were on console to give me something to hunt for. Can’t wait to see what us revealed this coming weekend. Thanks for keeping this updated

Just want to make sure you know that the image saying bards are coming to Neverwinter is a fake. The person posting it admitted to it after someone tried repeatedly to get the same message. There are many hints about bards, but nothing that overt.

No Neverwinter new content playable at PAX, only Torchlight Frontiers and Remnant.

Reveal, you gotta be kidding me. No one even knows for certain if the video put on Twitter is an event, a module or some sort of joke preview. There isn’t a single concrete answer.
I’m not personally excited for mod 15 in Waterdeep or skullport or anything of that nature. Ravenloft is a fantastic expansion so of course, it’s gonna run even shorter than Chult or River District which were both EXTREMELY annoying and no one enjoyed. WTH. I’m disappointed. I can’t keep selling Neverwinter to my friends when all you do is come out with expansions every three months that propel all the players to have to play so they can get the next new gear, and then repeat until insane. Console player, seriously bummed.

They labeled the “Heart of Fire” update a “module”. It doesn’t seem like it’s something that they will do on top of something bigger.
