Neverwinter Announces Extra Life 24-Hour Stream

[blog_subscription_form]Extra Life and PWE/Cryptic Studios recently announced that they take their partnership into another year. In case you don’t know, Extra Life is a gaming charity that supports children hospitals. PWE and Cryptic have already teamed up in recent years, and they’ll run a 24-hour live stream this time around. The whole thing takes place on Saturday and the full info and schedule is available on the Extra Life website. Please note that it’s not happening on the official Perfect World Twitch account, but on Zeroniusrex. Looks like Cryptic will play a bunch of party games, but Community Manager Julia “Nitocris83” Fredrickson will also get into Neverwinter from 2-5 PM Pacific.

Julia Publicly Plays the Game for the First Time

She has put up a thread asking the community to help her create a character for the stream. It’s not yet clear whether she’ll jump into the endgame or start from the tutorial. In any case this should be the first time we’ll actually see her play the game. So make sure to stop by, have some fun and donate some money if you can! It’s a good cause and we’re happy that Cryptic continues to help out.

Last year, that had a bunch of in-game items for donating at certain levels. I remember getting a Rainbow Starry Panther, which I thought at least looked cool. Looks like they aren’t offering anything like that this year

would be fun to see Julia in-game and maybe better for promoting Neverwinter if she were able to run all the end game content. might make for a more interesting stream if she could do tiamat, demogorgon and some epic dungeons and learn and explain the mechanics to other newbies or people interested in the game.
