Neverwinter Community Watch

The Community Watch is a recurring format on the weekends that summarizes interesting stories, forum posts, links and news in the Neverwinterverse that are worth reporting, but don’t warrant a full own post.

Here’s what happened during the last week:

  • The release date for the Maze Engine on Xbox has been announced. It’s May 3rd.
  • Our blogger JayAgeDee didn’t waste any time posting his Maze Engine preparation guide on reddit for Xbox players.
  • Two30 extended his Insignia tools, this time presenting us possible variations.
  • Everyone and their mother are trying to figure out where to get that Beholder mount.
  • Some powers that deal a certain amount of damage to nearby targets are apparently bugged in a way that the proc benefits from all sorts of buffs and damage modifiers when it should be a flat increase. Murderous Flames can actually hit for a lot more than the Killing Flames that triggered it. That way, all buffs and bonuses are essentially applied twice. Other confirmed affected powers are Tyrannical Threat and Hawk Eye.
  • PSA: Don’t use the Owlbear Cub on a DC.
  • Portobello’s Wand is fun, also in PVP!
  • Here’s a video of the new event queue, Artificer’s Workshop!
  • The latest patch made all auctions, that were posted prior to the downtime, invisible. This is an ongoing issue ever since the Maze Engine launch.
  • Mercedesman asks for more manner in online games.
  • Is the ability to preselect classes you’d like to face the solution for PVP?
  • The new Elemental Evil campaign is on the PTS and can be tested.
