Neverwinter Community Watch

The Community Watch is a recurring format on the weekends that summarizes interesting stories, forum posts, links and news in the Neverwinterverse that are worth reporting, but don’t warrant a full own post.

Here’s what happened during the last week:

  • Cryptic had some troubles with their servers as PS4 went down briefly and now the PC gateway is mia until at least Tuesday.
  • RNG can actually do good things. Not for everyone though.

PC

  • The first runs of Fangbreaker’s Island are in on live and The Holy Crusaders have posted a in-depth guide and walkthrough video.
  • Of course Sharpedge and company are already close to 30 minute completions. Posers…
  • Most players should have unlocked Cold Run by now and could run into the mini boss Frost Fire. Tough dude.
  • Builds: GF blog Barthos Chronicles shared a Mod 10 setup for an Iron Vanguard and @bloodyspamer posted a Hellbringer/Temptation Warlock.
  • No week without a QQ thread about PVP. So you better bring cheese before clicking here.
  • The Tymora event that currently runs on PC is pretty outdated. And people know.

Consoles

  • Lots of talk on consoles about Portobello.
  • Also players like to know best strategies for the double RP weekend on PS4. This is just one of many threads on both the reddit and the ARC forums.
  • If you’re not aware where Portobello Da Vinci and the story of the event is coming from, ManicGypsy has you covered.
  • And of course people already ask where to get the illustrious Beholder Tank.
  • FNHUSA57 uploaded a video guide and review of the event.
  • Garlaanx meanwhile added an overview and a leveling guide for Artifacts.
  • Which brings us to TrashTalkGamingHD, who focused on refining this week in two videos. 1 2
  • While these three cover current stuff, CaptnSpicyPants leaps ahead and already theorycrafts about the Paladin in Mod 10.
