Neverwinter Weekender: Shards and Omu Announcement on Consoles!

weekenderlogoThe Neverwinter Weekender is our weekly column that contains everything you need to know to have some fun along the Sword Coast on the weekends! We’ll inform you guys about the events across all platforms, preview and review them as well as hand out some tips and guides. This is the perfect spot to start off your adventures!

It’s official! The Lost City of Omu update will come to consoles on April 24th! We’ll prime you guys soon enough, but you can already explore a sea of articles related to Module 13 by checking out our main menu. In the present in the meantime, the devs throw a variety of discounts onto the console crowd. You’re getting 20% off Mounts, and 50% off from Seal Traders! Blood Rubys are included in a promotion as well, but as always we don’t recommend buying them from the ZEN market. They are just that much cheaper on the Auction House.

All platforms feature Double Stronghold Shards over the weekend, and PC adds a corresponding Strongholds sale and Double Icewind Dale currency to the mix. Additionally, PC players have to adjust to the latest changes. Cradle got significantly harder to complete with the relog exploit and the ability to skip phases gone. Also, unsurprisingly, not everyone was pleased to see the Astral Diamonds drop rate from Overflow Rewards getting nerfed. Just your usual day alongside the Sword Coast, huh?

We hope you guys will enjoy the weekend with our overview! In case you have any questions or remarks, make sure to put them in the comments or visit the corresponding thread on our message board!
