Neverwinter Weekender: The Siege Influences Gate Crashers

weekenderlogoThe Neverwinter Weekender is our weekly column that contains everything you need to know to have some fun along the Sword Coast on the weekends! We’ll inform you guys about the events across all platforms, preview and review them as well as hand out some tips and guides. This is the perfect spot to start off your adventures!

The Siege of Neverwinter

Another siege started (will the Cult of the Dragon ever learn?), which means players on consoles get their first chance at the new Siegebreaker Griffon. The mount is available for just doing the dailies and has a very interesting Insignia Bonus for alts in Wanderer’s Fortune. We’ll probably post a full event guide tomorrow (no promises), but both Garlaanx and Nova have videos up as well in case you can’t wait.

PC in the meantime can crash the gates in the Call-to-Arms format, but as mentioned last week when the event was on consoles, it really doesn’t seem to be worth it at the moment. The rewards aren’t there and Gate Crashers in articular is even painfully slow, you’re just waiting for mobs half the time. One thing is worth testing however. Some people claim you can get up to 150 Medallion of Battle when queueing solo, which is possible since Mod 12. Up from 20-30 within a group this could make the skirmish, and Call-to-Arms in general, an interesting destination again.

Double Influence

The Stronghold grind gets a boost on all platforms with Double Influence (still not working with Marauders though…). PC adds a bag sale and consoles a mount one. Overall this doesn’t make it a very exciting weekend on PC, but at least Double Refinement is on the horizon. So make sure you are prepared with the feeder artifacts, refining points and reagents you are going to need!

We hope you guys will enjoy the weekend with our overview! In case you have any questions or remarks, make sure to put them in the comments or visit the corresponding thread on our message board!

I can confirm the solo bit; I took my CW and GWF in alone and each got 150-170 medallions per runs. Makes getting bluefire transmutes for alts a breeze.

Hilarious that Nova is doing “A complete guide to the Siege of Neverwinter” and seeing him asking people in Zone-chat what an Ancient Curio was?

How the fuck can you have avoided getting a Curio by now???

    That’s LGPG top-tier for you…
