Neverwinter Weekender: VIP Sale, Portobello & Mysterious Scams

weekenderlogoThe Neverwinter Weekender is our weekly column that contains everything you need to know to have some fun along the Sword Coast on the weekends! We’ll inform you guys about the events across all platforms, preview and review them as well as hand out some tips and guides. This is the perfect spot to start off your adventures!

The Day of the Dungeon Master has returned on all platforms and brings its fun challenges and table top feeling to Neverwinter. In case it’s the first time for you in the event, check out our guide, which covers all relevant aspects. Additionally everyone can get their VIP packages at a 15% discount over the weekend. Platforms differ however in the double events. While PC players can farm twice as much Influence (+15% off Bags), console players earn double profession resources (+20% off selected items on the ZEN market).

Unfortunately we also have to dish out our occasional warning about the Mysterious Egg event. DO NOT BUY THE EGGS ON THE WONDROUS BAZAAR! We’re completely amazed that the devs keep adding this one to the regular calendar as it can safely be considered a scam at this point. The Mysterious Chicken Eggs are not worth the 1,200,000 freaking AD and go for much less on the Auction House. Either somebody is extremely ignorant at Cryptic HQ or it’s intended to trick players into spending way more on the eggs than they are actually worth. This seriously has to stop…

We hope you guys will enjoy the weekend with our overview! In case you have any questions or remarks, make sure to put them in the comments or visit the corresponding thread on our message board!

Talking about scam, Zen Market rubies are way worse, but I do agree that 1.2M for something that drops a lot during Winterfest is quite expensive

Speaking of scams what is with the players that post a ultimate mark of potency (110,000 AD) for the cost of a ultimate enchanting stone (450,000 AD). Talk about some low like muthers attempts to post click bait. In hopes someone does not look close and think they are buying the cheapest UES only to find out after some ass hat posted a UMoP at that price .If you see any posting like that at auction house please make sure to give them a piece of your mind and also don’t be afraid to report them to there guilds. Any guilds that wants lowlife members that try to trick players into buying there items in such ways needs to be shown. And on the other hand guild that make sure them type of people are not welcome good job done.
