Neverwinter Weekender: Waukeen Visits Consoles

weekenderlogoThe Neverwinter Weekender is our weekly column that contains everything you need to know to have some fun along the Sword Coast on the weekends! We’ll inform you guys about the events across all platforms, preview and review them as well as hand out some tips and guides. This is the perfect spot to start off your adventures!

Refinement Frenzy and Waukeen

This is primarily going to be a massive weekend on consoles because Double Refinement is in town! As always make sure to look into our market tools, which offer a collection of calculators that are definitely going to help you through the refinement process. With that being said, it’s not really too complicated most of the time. Just throw whatever RP you have into your Enchantments, Runestones and Artifacts!

If you guys need a break from that, you can participate in the Coins of Waukeen event. The drops from the event overall are no longer too impressive, but you might like some of the transmutes. Additionally the Waukeen’s Coin Purses that drop while killing mobs have a chance to add some RADs to your stock.

If that wouldn’t already be enough, the “Tomb of Annihilation” hype train has officially left the station with the announcement that the dinos will hit consoles on September 12th. As always there’s no better place to get prepared than Uncensored/Unblogged. Tons of articles and guides are already waiting for you in our module hub.

Double Professions and Dread Ring on PC

On PC players in the meantime will primarily be farming professions and masterwork nodes this weekend. Since Double Guild Marks ran a couple weeks ago, everyone should have a nice stock of Explorer’s Charts ready.

Additionally the Dread Ring campaign can be completed in light-speed. A double event means that you can earn up to 20 Thayan Cipher, which is more than half of the progression. It’s definitely worth it although it’s not the worst campaign to complete anyway. Dread Ring is also the one campaign that can be completely bought with Genie’s Gifts. In case you stashed some away or have ADs to spare, now’s the time to exchange. Players that planned accordingly can complete the weekly quest twice during the event days by the way. So Double Currency events always serve as a reminder to bring up the calendar regularly and look ahead.

Oh and in case you missed it, yesterday’s patch brought some nice improvements for Hunting. Go check them out!

We hope you guys will enjoy the weekend with our overview! In case you have any questions or remarks, make sure to put them in the comments or visit the corresponding thread on our message board!
