Swords of Chult Announced for January 9th on Consoles

It’s officially time to get hyped about the “Swords of Chult” release on consoles! The clues were piling up and yesterday Perfect World finally announced the mid-module update for January 9th on Xbox and PS4. Swords of Chult is released a little bit later compared to the usual timetables, but it made sense to not stack it on to of the Winter Festival that already keeps players busy throughout the holidays.

As “b” module the update is low on story and content additions and focuses on reworks and quality-of-life upgrades. It enhances inventory management, brings changes to PVP and make it easier for alts to progress in campaigns thanks to a new Patronage System.

As always console players can profit from the experience the PC crowd has already built. You can either browse through the official dev blogs or our site. We have a full tab in the main menu dedicated to “Swords of Chult” and the primer we wrote for the PC release is a good place to start as well. It previews all relevant additions and changes and links to related articles.

Have fun preparing yourself!
