Tomorrow’s Patch NW.50.20150902b.12 Removes Main Source Of Botting

Currently bots are farming Ghost Stories for the specific node and chest the devs are removing with patch NW.50.20150902b.12. This means that the supply of Rank 4/5 Enchantments, Peridots, and Lesser and Normal Marks will heavily decrease and prices will probably spike. It looks like it could be a smart investment although it’s sort of a gamble on how fast the bots will find alternatives.
As of now no info is given whether like legit players will be compensated by moving the exploitable node and chest to spots bots can’t easily reach by the way. Currently it looks like a plain removal.
So back in level 60 days there was a dungeon area in the Chasm that the bots used to farm that literally had a dozen resource nodes.
In the Air Zone currently there’s a slaadi filled reskin of that identical map that has nearly as many collectible nodes, so I seriously doubt this is going to really accomplish very much.
