Unblogged Wisdom Checks: What Items from the Discontinued Class Booster Packs Do You Miss the Most?

The devs discontinued the Class Booster Packs on the ZEN Market with the Ravenloft release and replaced them with new Adventurer Packs. It might not seem like a big issue because the packs were pretty outdated. Looking back in the past the first ones held some value when you would bring up alts. They featured weapons without a level requirement that were really great up to level 20 or something. Also a very underrated fact were the account unlocked companions. If you own at least five different packs, you can equip any new character with five companions right from the start. The included pets weren’t super amazing, but at least serviceable. Last but not least, all packs featured an unique title, two unique visuals for the class, and two unique visuals for all classes.

Looking through the list of items that are now no longer in the game, it’s probable that you might regret not having bought the packs when they were still available. The devs have already stated that they are looking into ways of bringing some stuff back. But who knows when this will happen? So in today’s poll, we’d like to ask you what items from the Class Booster Packs you do miss the most. And in case you own them all, just go with those that you use frequently and hence hold the most value for you personally.

Companions really the only things worth having. Their active bonuses should be updated, like they did with some event companions, like the Ghost, Skeleton, Scarecrow etc. There are far too many useless, rip-off companions with active bonuses at Green like 55 Recovery, 55 Deflection, while others have +5% dps, 200 Power and so on

Without a doubt, the exclusive titles and companions. When I remember that we didn’t even have a warning like “hurry up buy them if you want to, they won’t be available after this week!”… Makes me sick.
I only have 2 out of the 8 packs, and I’ll never get the others. Companion may drop later, but titles won’t, and i’m sick of that.

Well, i bought all the packs a long time ago during 50% sales with AD exchanged into ZEN, so while i’m not “missing” any of those packs, i’m just baffled by the stupidity of the decision to pull packs that are actually worth something/give the players account-wide unlocks and “replace” them with junk.

Yes, i think the Adventurer crap packs are junk – even a new player is better of buying ViP directly, then wasting their ZEN for either one of those abominations.

And what i really miss at the moment are decent packs with usefull account-wide unlocks in the ItemShop…

With stunts like this, and ZEN charge promotions that are either pointless or riddled with problems from start to finish, it’s a small miracle that players are still buying ZEN.
