Perfect World Compensates Players for Broken Seal Discount with 2000 Zen
Well, this one is certainly interesting. Perfect World, not really known for owning up to their mistakes, seem to handle the recent broken seal discount event on Xbox very generously. From Oct 12th to Oct 16th consoles got a 50% seal discount that didn’t include Seals of the Brave on Xbox. Perfect World immediately reacted and reimbursed seals spent prior to the notification that the discount was not being applied correctly. Earlier this month they additionally reran the event.
This already feels like enough compensation for a broken discount event. Today however some players informed us that they received 2,000 ZEN from support as additional apology.
Too Good to Be True?
To be honest, this feels a little too good to be true. First of all, the date doesn’t match the incident in the shown e-mail that a user posted on our Discord. And then 2,000 ZEN is a huge amount given what happened and since they already compensated players and reran the event. We’re putting it out there nonetheless and will update this article with new information as they become available.
*** UPDATE ***: This seems to be legit. That’s an awesome gift for those that were affected by the broken seal discount.

I was baffled how I had 2000 zen. I thought I screwed up while transferring ad from salvage mules and bought zen on accident. I have been been wondering this for a few days now. Thanks for the clarification.
this is not exclusively on xbox. i purchased the new equipment on ps4 during the broken seal discount and got 2000 zen, too.
