Bag of Tricks Vol. 79: New Advanced Combat Tracker Plugin for Neverwinter

Bog of Tricks Logo

Welcome to the latest installment of our Bag of Tricks! On some days you will find useful tricks, gimmicks and ideas here that can make life in Neverwinter Online easier. Some of the stuff should be well known, but since even veterans learn something new every now and then, chance is you can, too.

If you’re serious about theorycrafting then you certainly know that Neverwinter always had a plugin to parse the game’s combat log into the Advanced Combat Tracker software. It’s pretty much the only way to gather reliable data about DPS, buffs, and many damage-relevant components of powers and feats. The plugin players used however was pretty dated and didn’t fully work with all aspects of the log any longer. That’s why user “Dragonsbite” started working on an update for the plugin and released his version here.

The list of changes looks promising and we certainly hope that Dragonsbite will keep the project alive. If you’re not sure how to use and utilize the plugin by the way, we have a full guide up on how to use the Advanced Combat Tracker. Have fun with it!
